Coaching is the key to building new healthy habits and achieving sustainable lifestyle changes.
Health coaching is a relatively new field that focuses on overall well-being. It recognizes that health is influenced by various lifestyle factors that are oftentimes beyond traditional medical treatment such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connections, and risky substances.
Health coaches provide support and encouragement to achieve SMART goals, guiding individuals through challenges and celebrating successes. They help individuals feel empowered to take ownership of their health journey and make lasting changes that align with their values and priorities. In summary, health coaching is a journey towards wellness, taking one step at a time, achieving one goal at a time, and making one meaningful change at a time.
Rebekah is a board-certified health & wellness coach who specializes in lifestyle medicine. Passionate about wellness education and disease prevention, she believes in supporting people through exploration of values, motivations and barriers. She enjoys developing growth promoting relationships that elicit motivation, increase confidence and facilitates a change process through visioning, creativity, goal setting, and accountability.
Health Coaching Is Self-Pay (HSA/FSA Eligible)
$100 total for 90 days of group health coaching
(compared to $420 for 6 hours of individual health coaching)
Need-based tiered pricing is available upon request.
You will be invited to attend group coaching sessions which are held virtually via Zoom every other Wednesday from 12-1PM and will receive access to group chats via GroupMe for ongoing coaching support in between each session. We will learn how to set SMART goals and how to support ourselves and others.
We start by uncovering values and motivators, creating wellness visions, making long-term goals, and then breaking those down into smaller, short-term goals that can be achieved within a 2-week period.
Along the way, we will explore the following pillars of lifestyle medicine together: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connections and avoiding risky substances.
Health coaching is not covered by most insurance plans. In many cases though, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) funds may be used for health coaching. Some insurance companies may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a healthcare provider to cover the expense. If needed, your ZoeRVA provider may write one for you.
There is a need-based tiered pricing structure available for group health coaching based on annual income and family size or current insurance coverage (or lack thereof).
Yes, 30-minute sessions are $35 and 60-minute sessions are $70. These rates are also subject to a sliding scale based on annual income and family size. Please indicate your interest in individual sessions on the form below.
Please submit the interest form below and we will respond to your question ASAP.
“I have suffered with anxiety all of my adult life and I enrolled in yoga therapy at the suggestion of my therapist. I enjoyed the classes and Ali kept things positive. I use the practices that Ali taught us several times a week and it does help lower my anxiety level. I really appreciate that the videos of the practices are still available to me online and I can follow along with Ali just like when I was in class.”
“Being in class with Ali made me feel very comfortable to be able to be open about my experiences without feeling judged. Coming to class was something I looked forward to every week as a sense of belonging and getting to be a part of something positive. I am so glad I found this program! It has been a critical part of my therapy journey.”
“Ali has helped me in such a deep and meaningful way. She holds such a gentle, loving, non-judgmental space for me to show up however I am. She guides me to spaces within my heart and mind that I am afraid to go on my own and shows me that it’s not such a scary place. Together, we get to a much deeper space than I can with talk therapy. I recommend Ali’s groups or individual sessions to everyone in my life.”
“I always looked forward to experiencing what Ali so adeptly taught us each week which brought me back to my center layer by layer. I continue to embrace my healing journey through breathwork, journaling, and other practices I have learned in the sessions. I am so grateful I found this group. Game changer!”
