Jennifer Sistrunk LCSW
Jennifer Sistrunk is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience. She has worked in acute care, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient therapy. She received her Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jennifer uses elements of Strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to create a safe space to process, gain insight and build skills to promote increased confidence to navigate life challenges and a strong sense of self-worth. She enjoys individual and group therapy and works with clients 10 years and older in area of identity, relationships, depression, stress/anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and anger management.
When Jennifer is not working she is doting on her three retired racing greyhounds or spending time outside hiking, backpacking and camping.
