Rebecca Smith PMHNP-BC

Rebecca Smith is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has over a decade of nursing experience, primarily in neurology, neurocritical care, compliance, and psychiatry. Rebecca has trained and worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry.

Rebecca believes in a holistic approach in caring for clients by combining biological, psychological, social, and spiritual elements of mental health care. In addition, she believes it takes collaboration with her clients to meet the needs of their desired treatment outcomes. Rebecca is trained to treat individuals across the life span. She is LGBTQ+ competent and affirming. Some of her areas of interest include the treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
