Haley Hunt SISW
Haley brings experience working with individuals across the lifespan in both outpatient and residential settings, with a particular interest in supporting teens and couples. She also holds a certificate in Veterinary Social Work, which informs her work with compassion fatigue, animal‑related trauma, and grief related to pet loss.
Haley practices from a person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and relational approach, integrating modalities such as Attachment‑Based Therapy, DBT, Emotion‑Focused Therapy for Couples, and Trauma‑Focused CBT. She is known for her warmth, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique experience, and for building strong therapeutic relationships that support insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
Haley is currently a SISW in the state of Virginia, approved by the Virginia Board of Social Work to provide services under the supervision of a licensed professional as she completes the requirements for licensure. She is under the supervision of Emma Rixmann, LCSW.
