Follow-Up Appointment Reminders

  • Respond to any text messages, emails, and/or phone calls you receive from our office (804-303-9622) to confirm your appointment
    • Requests to reschedule or cancel your appointment must be received at least 1 business day in advance. Otherwise, you may be assessed a $100 late rescheduling/cancellation fee.
  • Sign into your patient portal account to complete any additional forms that may have been assigned to you
    • Text or call our office (804-303-9622) for additional assistance if you are unable to access your patient portal account
  • For in-person appointments:
    • Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time
    • Out of courtesy to other patients, if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule your appointment. If you do not attend your appointment, you may be assessed a $100 no-show fee.
  • For telehealth/virtual appointments:
    • Ensure you have downloaded and installed the Zoom Workplace app on the device you plan on using
    • 24 hours before your appointment time, you will receive a link through a text message and/or email (sent from [email protected] with the subject line “Invitation for Telehealth Appointment”) to join a Zoom meeting
      • If you do not receive this link, text or call our office (804-303-9622) for additional assistance
    • 15 minutes before your appointment time, click the link to confirm your identity, join the Zoom waiting room, and check your audio/video settings
      • Out of courtesy to other patients, if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule your appointment. If you do not attend your appointment, you may be assessed a $100 no-show fee.
