Brittany Young LPC, CCTP, CSAC

Brittany Young, LPC, CSAC, CCTP received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. Over her 10 years of field experience, she has worked with adults facing various challenges to include: depression, anxiety, work related stressors, relationship issues, low self-confidence, substance abuse and post-traumatic stress. Her counseling style is warm, motivational and solution-focused. She believes respect and compassion within the therapeutic relationship provide a strong foundation for growth; further promoting comfort within dialogue. Her approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and motivational interviewing techniques.

Jennifer Sistrunk LCSW

Jennifer Sistrunk is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience. She has worked in acute care, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient therapy. She received her Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jennifer uses elements of Strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to create a safe space to process, gain insight and build skills to promote increased confidence to navigate life challenges and a strong sense of self-worth. She enjoys individual and group therapy and works with clients 10 years and older in area of identity, relationships, depression, stress/anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and anger management.

When Jennifer is not working she is doting on her three retired racing greyhounds or spending time outside hiking, backpacking and camping.

Mary Frances Santmier LPC

Mary Frances has been working with adolescents, adults, and families for over 20yrs. Her focus is building a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to talk about what has brought them in and work towards change. She believes in a collaborative approach to therapy and wants her clients to feel empowered in the process. She specializes in trauma work, substance use, interpersonal relationships, LGBTQ+ related issues, and a wide range of mood disorders. Mary Frances strives to increase her client’s own internal strengths while creating more awareness into barriers that are present. She has been serving clients and families in community mental health providing outpatient care, and in addition, has been providing crisis-based assessment and intervention to patients of all ages.

She is trained in and uses a wide variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT), Motivational Interviewing/Enhancement, and Family Systems. She has a passion for adolescents and young adults providing individual therapy and family therapy and will be working with clients ages 14 and up. She also enjoys facilitating groups and there will be more to come in the near future about this.

Jessica Powell RIC

Jessica is a Resident in Counseling who offers a warm, genuine, and person-centered approach. She works with clients ages 5-65 who are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship stressors, and challenges from daily life. Jessica works collaboratively with clients to develop insight, gain understanding of self, and master new skills.

Jessica received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has previously worked in outpatient settings and community-based settings, including intensive in-home and crisis support. Jessica is passionate about empowering clients to develop self-compassion and feel more connected to themselves, others, and their community.

Mahala Jordan PH.D, LPC

Mahala Jordan PhD, LPC, ATR works with clients 12 and older to address a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, identity development, substance abuse, family dynamics, and trauma. Mahala approaches her work from a strengths-based perspective and aims to empower her clients to make positive changes to improve their lives. She has experience working in community mental health, intensive community-based services, and addiction treatment. She also has received training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and emotion focused family therapy. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy which helps to begin the process of healing from trauma. Her graduate education includes a master’s in art therapy and doctorate in human behavior.

Sommer Bognar LCSW

Sommer Bognar, LCSW is a mental health and substance abuse treatment provider with previous experience in schools, hospitals, and residential settings. Sommer is passionate about helping adolescents and adults, especially those who identify as LGBTQIA+, learn to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
